Demetreia is a highly motivated and dedicated financial professional with over 5 years of experience in fraud investigation, auditing, and financial planning. 

 

Demetreia holds a degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing a BA in Financial Services, further deepening her expertise in nonprofit financial management. She is also a certified member of both the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)

 

Demetreia’s extensive experience in fraud detection, risk management, and internal audits shows her passion for protecting organizations’ resources and promoting financial transparency. Her work will ensure all funds are used effectively in support of the BRI’s mission.

 

As a Treasurer of BRI, Demetreia plays a key role on managing the organization’s financial integrity, overseeing budgeting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding long-term fiscal strategy. In addition, her prior years working for DCS brings understanding and devotion for working with families in need of all services including mental health.
